Life is a journey

My school was located at a place where we had to cross the Automatic Railway Gate to reach school. This had been a major disappointment all through my school life. We never knew when the gate would be closed and when it would be open and how many trains would pass each time they would close. It was all so unpredictable. Other than the time when I had to reach school on time I've always had this great fascination for trains and railway stations.

Being a frequent traveller from home to hostel and vice versa, I can sit at the railway station, watching people and the trains come and go (I can do this without using my phone).
I watch how people rush in and out without waiting for a moment. Once their destination has arrived, they think of nothing else and keep moving.
I sometimes wonder aren't our lives just like these trains and railway stations. We travel on the train called 'life' and reach various destinations that are called 'goals' or 'lessons'.
The frequents delays are the times when we are depressed and demotivated. The times when the train picks up speed is the times when we are instigated. The times when destinations arrive late imply to the times after a lot of hard work and patience we could finally achieve the goal we aimed at.
The vendors who shout their trade cry are those people who always stop by in your journey of life to say an occasional 'Hai' or a 'GoodBye'. These are the people who provide us with the care and comfort throughout our journey.

We wait for nothing, once we've reached our goal. We keep moving on to the next stations.
No matter what, like the train doesn't seize to help passengers reach their destinations, this journey of ours called life shall never stop either. There shall be a number of situations when the goal ahead of us is blocked by the mist and fog. But then it does clear up giving us a way to start ahead and reach our goals.
